Mike Maniglia

Producer, Director, Cinematographer, Editor

Mike started in the film industry working for his family (his father and brothers are filmmakers) and then moved on to become a union camera assistant (Law and Order: SVU, Sopranos). He launched his independent career making commercials, films and industrials for a varied and diverse stable of clients. He has shot, directed and produced for Quiksilver Int’l, National Geographic Channel and the History Channel. Currently he has films on the festival circuit and has won awards for his documentary work, music videos and short films. Mike has shot and produced in Patagonia, Indonesia, France, Germany, Greece, Romania, Saudi Arabia, El Salvador, Costa Rica and every corner of the good old U.S. of A.. His experience in the studio system has enabled him to fully develop all the necessary skills that an independent filmmaker requires in today’s highly competitive market place of diminishing budgets and tight schedules. Mike can run a production from top to bottom, inside/out, script to screen. He thrives on the endless diversity and constant challenge his career presents at every turn.

Micah Shapiro

Producer, Director, Cinematographer, Editor

Micah’s skill set is varied and impressive. Co-Producer of Gusto and director of many snowboard films, his eye for the moving image is both respected and evident in his work.

David Gross

Producer

David has been in the film business for the better part of ten years. His career in production spans across two coasts. He’s worked in feature films, episodic television, commercials, and music video production in New York, Los Angeles, and everywhere in between. He currently resides in Los Angeles.

Nick Dale

Producer

Nick Dale is Subterra Films’ Producer/Guy Friday/whatever’s needed; adept at lighting, a savage gaffer, just a regular Macguyver. Capable of any, and I mean any task.

Al Collins

Producer, Photographer

Al has worked extensively as a photographer for Quiksilver, Vans, SubTerra Films and his own production outfit, UL Films. Now Al is working with SubTerra Films as a producer and director.

Aaron Hawkins

Creative Director

Aaron is a true independent artist in every definition. His skills as a draftsman and photographer keep him busy most of the time. When he’s not on a contract job he’s either working on his music or collaborating on projects with SubTerra.
