Michael comes from a family of filmmakers; his father and two of his brothers have been in the business all their lives producing documentary films, features, shorts and TV programs.
Michael has worked for National Geographic, Beyond Productions, PBS, Discovery Networks, Universal, HBO and many others whose budgets vary as much as the projects themselves.
He cut his teeth as a camera assistant in TV episodic, feature and commercial films, subsequently becoming a member of the International Cinematographers Guild, Local 600. All the while he worked independently on his own films as well as smaller productions that he directed and operated camera on. Michael now heads up Subterra Films producing content for TV, music videos, documentaries and features films.
